Offering this 10 week class in our ceramics studios! Beginning students will be taught the basics of hand-building and wheel-work while intermediate students will refine their skills. Individual projects will include functional pottery and decorative work. Discover the ceramic process from start to finish, learn glazing techniques, watch demonstrations and, receive one-on-one attention with instructor help and feedback. Taken the class before? Offering this 10 week class in our ceramics studios! This class is available for advanced students that have taken at least four ceramics classes at CMA or have received instructor approval to take the class. Form, surface design, glazing, and firing will be explored in greater depth during this class. Advanced students who have taken five or more CMA ceramics classes or working at a level determined to be advanced by the instructor will be required to do their own firing in cooperation with the Canton Ceramic Artists Guild to deepen their understanding of the process.

Following story time in the gallery, tots will create their own Cheerio-inspired ladders to the moon, granola-sprinkled starscapes, and edible honey-painted nocturnal animals as they build a tasty mosaic dreamscape to take home!
